First Tech Challenge
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition for middle and high school students where teams design, build, and program robots to compete in an annual game challenge. It’s all about applying STEM skills in real-world ways: engineering a working robot, coding in Java, solving complex problems, and collaborating with a team.

FTC isn’t just about the tech—it’s also about outreach, creativity, and strategy. Teams can win awards not only for robot performance, but also for things like design, innovation, documentation, and impact in the community. FTC will be the main focus, and what most time is spent on.

Mentoring
As part of our mission to inspire the next generation of robotics innovators, Ace Automation is taking on an exciting challenge: creating and mentoring FIRST LEGO League teams. These younger students are just beginning their STEM journeys, and we’re here to support them with experience, guidance, and encouragement.

Whether it’s showing them how to program a simple robot or cheering them on at competitions, our goal is to be a supportive, encouraging presence they’ll never forget.

Mentorship Handbook
As Ace Automation grows, so does our commitment to lifting others along the way. That’s why we’re developing a Mentor Handbook—a compact, beginner-friendly guide designed to help new FTC teams get started with confidence and clarity.

Hospital Headlines
We visit local children’s hospitals to bring hands-on robotics experiences directly to young patients. These sessions include interactive demonstrations of our robot, opportunities to safely explore components, and age-appropriate activities designed to spark joy and curiosity.

🂡 We believe STEM should be joyful, healing, and accessible—even in tough moments. By introducing robotics in hospital settings, we offer distraction, inspiration, and hands-on learning to kids who may not otherwise have access to it.

YouTube
Ace Automation is developing a YouTube channel dedicated to all things robotics and FTC.

Our videos are created by the team, for the community—helping others learn while documenting our progress as a rookie FTC team.

Food Banks
At Ace Automation, we believe engineering isn’t just about machines—it’s about people. That’s why one of our cornerstone outreach projects is supporting local food banks and hunger relief organizations.

By combining robotics and outreach, we hope to engineer not just robots—but a better world.

STEM Initiative
Ace Automation believes STEM should be accessible, exciting, and hands-on—especially for students who’ve never had the chance to explore it. That’s why we have the STEM Initiative, bringing fun and engaging robotics-based experiences directly to kids who never had the chance to discover it.

🂡 By planting seeds of innovation early, we’re helping the next generation shuffle into STEM with confidence.

Collaberations
We collaborate with local museums, libraries, and public venues to host robotics presentations that educate and inspire. These events feature robot demos, team displays, behind-the-scenes insights, and interactive activities tailored to each audience.

🂡 Community-based STEM outreach helps demystify robotics and invites all ages to learn, engage, and imagine themselves in STEM roles. We bring the robot to the people—no prior tech experience required.
